Hey all,
I'm looking to get a 14ft race board for some social racing on the flat, as well as some racing offshore and doing some downwinders etc.
I've paddled a 2012 Jav 14 and found it a little too tippy and considering the glide.
Is there any difference between the 2012 and 2013 glides??? I'd love to see even less nose rocker than the change last time.
I'm also considering the Starboard all star, fanatic falcon, JM 14, Deep 14 or Sunny King 14 pro.
Unfortunatley there's not a huge opportunity for me to demo demo demo as suggested here, thanks to my work schedule clashing with most people with demo boards availability.
The glide in gs construction looks like great value for $$$ as does the Sunny king pro.
How much will I suffer in the flat in the glide vs the other boards mentioned.
Btw I'm 5'10 and about 90kgs.

The Walk on Water 14s would be worth a look too, if you have access to them over there.
The 14 Glide is an awesome board and the only difference in 2012-2013 is the slightly changed deck grip but that really changed a little while ago because I have one.. The old deck grip had a problem with the duel compound pad.. Naish don't change their shapes each year because they get it right the first time.. 
.. and this also helps keep the resale value up because there's no shape change.
