Ladies and Gents,
Very keen to hear your thoughts... I currently own a 2011 Starboard Whopper in AST Silver, mainly for play in the surf in Perth (so not quite the quality of big East Coast swell). Its been a great board for the last 12 months (and is a great board for that matter) and has suited me to a tee... I am just getting "itchy feet" for an update and am thinking of the 9'5" Wide Point - so for all of you who have two-bobs worth, and preferably those of you who did bite the bullet on the 2012 WP, how do you now rate it after a few months or so of use???

I have the 9'5 wide point and my only advice is to go out and grab one. I have used the board in everything from knee high to double overhead ( I'm not very tall). It's a great board and handles everything I ask it to do.

Agree with Gregc.
I love mine. It really is awesome!! Had it up to head high I'm pretty tall(sorry Greg) & it just rips in all conditions..

Thank you all for your comments, I appreciate it... it's time to Demo and potentially become a two-board family!!! Wonder if the good-wife would notice the second board rack (and board) going up in the carport??? Might take her a little while to notice (fingers crossed)
