Took the NEW K15 for a spin this morning.
At 15 x 30 I didn't bother getting changed, straight from the car onto the board in my street clothes.
Sourcing information on this board was hard on the i'net. Some info on the 2009 model for sure but the most recent model proved a difficult one to find actual images apart from computer generated prototypes on the Star-board website and camo design AST models demo'd last year.
The information pertaining to the board is wrong in some minor area's, with the most notibale being only one secure point in the middle of the deck and not several as advertised.
The board is quite heavy and with no carry handle and the glued on EVA rim, it's a task to carry with any comfort.
The GT stripe looks good but the finish is so so (white star touch).
In the water, it glides a dream. Bow waves created with the smallest push and it seems to almost propel itself. Faster than the 14' Naish Glide across the water IMO.
The scooped deck is different for sure - felt like I was in a Gondala in Venice but it was quickly forgotten and was a comfortable ride. There is a side to side rock of sorts but not 'tippy'. I doubt you could ever actually lean it over on a rail and fall in.
It's certainly a board for a bigger person or one for someone looking to win a flat water race as clearly stated in all the info I read online although I must say the asthetic's are not quite to the Naish Glide's standards.
I did take some video of the board but I've had download issues today and it's not worked out but I've managed to capture some still's.
This was the K15's first and only water time and it is available For Sale at the Wholesale Price of $1899.00. Retail for this is $2349.00 plus frieight.

Yes, I agree with all of that. I've paddle Jonathan's/PT's Red K15, with a pin tail. Maybe 2 year old board. 
K-15 is definitely faster than the Naish 14 Glide on pure flat water. K-15 slices, but the Naish "pushes" a little. But, the Naish 14 Glide was built for Down Wind.
Naish 14 Glide is much more stable than the K-15. The K-15 does have the "rocking" feel, or "hammock" feel compared to the Naish 14. But the K-15 is still stable enough.
The sunken deck on the K-15 means you are very roughly 2 inches lower, or 2 inches closer to the water, and you could use a shorter paddle than your usual flat water paddle.

I should have clarified. The comparison to the 14' Glide was only as I've got one and they are popular so I was trying to compare float, stability etc against it even though it's apples and oranges.....just give the punters an idea.
