I'm up to my 10th or 11th session on my foil. But really only had about 5 sessions in good conditions. Board is 7ft Coreban Wahine, girls version of the Hyper but exactly same board. Don't laugh!

It was a good buy at the time & I covered the word girl with a Coreban sticker. So now you can't tell, right.? Lol.
Anyway. Got out in a lumpy surf making things difficult for stability which affected my timing to catch waves.
Finaly within that 3 hour session I got onto a wave & lifted the board onto the foil that is similar in size to an H4 Slingshot. But this time I had my thoughts on an open greeting stance & focussed on pushing the nose of the board back down & levelling it. But just on lift off I realized my back foot was forward of the mast but too late for correction!
So off I went. Gliding silently on my magic carpet. I instantly realized that my weight forward was just right on a fairly large wave close to head high with good power & speed which had me controlling it quite easily.

Unfortunately got too confident & splashed down! Lol.
Had a few more runs after that but not long. But was stoked!
Very happy with my set up so far. Love the board's excessive nose rocker. I recovered quite well after a few nose dives, bouncing back up off the surface to keep going on the wave. The board has a bit of tail rocker which I think will help with pumping the foil too.
The mast is just above the wing & so far no problem getting it up & gliding.

The foil is set right in my opinion. Catches waves as normal & speeds up well as it lifts.
Oh. Will keep staying safe as possible with helmet & vest. Cheers.
