Why foiling is SO GOOD

If you are foiling where the crowds are you are doing it wrong and part of the joy is getting to some of these places that are really just no good on normal surf craft!!

This is a local spot near home that breaks all the time on the right tide but is pretty much useless on normal surf craft yet on a foil is super good fun with 500m long rides and a current to help you back to the take of point.

Looks sweet. I love waves like this. I will be hitting that one next lap for sure.

A bit point here by Jacko, Foiling we have the ability to ride all sorts of amazing swells that aside from Ski and OC's, no one can touch. Stay out of the line ups and go exploring.

Very cool videos!

Yes, the Tweed River can get really good I've surfed it some 15 years ago all you need is a Big East swell and its on.
Luke Egan used to surf it all the time on the right tide as he lived on top of Dbar hill and just looked out of his kitchen window.
