Waiting on the 7 6. I am 105kg and a novice. Looks a good shape at a reasonable price.

As I'm 85kg I'm looking for the 6'6, but can't find much info... Did you get pictures of the bottom shape? Is it somrthing like the prone boards? Did they set the kicker from the pad more in front ?

There is f all about it anywhere. It is the only board that is of a modern design I can get in WA so it is the winner. They should be in east coast shops now maybe hit them up. On paper it looks good as long as it is light.

I just spoke to Josh at Slingshot Australia , boards have arrived and in Stock in WA & NSW plus QLD . He hasn't up packed his yet so even he hasn't seen one but they are supposed to similar characteristics of the bottom shape to the High Roller prone board below (first pic is a prone board) Theses look like a huge improvement on the original Skywalker boards.
Still can't get my head around the "Outwit" name WTF .....

Looks like brushed carbon so should be light, can't wait to have more details to order my 6'6!

Hilly and mini hilly picked up the new package and were killing it in no time.

Great fun thanks Jas for the lesson helped heaps Not an expert but the board seemed to work well. Tracked straight and minimal issues when you touched down. There is some work in the bottom.













Felt wider than 29 as it was so stable. Next job is to paddle into some waves.

Light, considering they have foot strap plugs. No scales down here but probably 7kg when compared to my 8 6. Feels strong. Only issue is it has a vent plug not a gore tex valve. Will swap it out.

Sure did. Nice bit of kit, but hard to get in the car
off for its maiden paddle now

Well foil sup on windy OH waves is an extreme sport when you have no idea ha ha nearly killed myself today. Acceleration into the pit is insane followed by a huge launch. Wished I had videoed it. Snapped leggie saved me from serious injury I think.

Hilly where did you take it out

I have learned to give those conditions a miss. Still sticking to small weak waves after about 8 sessions but improving a little each time

Been out twice down south, both times too big. Really hard to find a small protected wave down here that does not have 50 groms on it. Huzzas would be ideal but packed all the time.

Amen to that. I am struggling to think where I would use it in Perth.

Ok time for an update. Getting flogged trying to learn down here. Steep big waves and wind plus lots of rocks. Got bruised ribs from crashing at speed so often and today I hit a rock, awesome. But what it did show was that the mast tracks in the Outwit are strong as.

Give that wing a couple of days in your hot car to dry out before patching it up. Paulownia core on them.

Only in water a few seconds flipped the board and paddled straight in. Was on way in as it was just went down when I should have gone up. Getting fixed now hope to be back on the water tomorrow.

Update.
Got some tips from Mark and found a good spot to foil (Thanks). Had some good sesions now. Verdict on the Outwit:

Stable for size
Strong but light
Bottom shape works well on touchdown - tracks really well
Paddles surprisingly well
Quality deckpad
Convex deck and narrow rail makes it a breeze to work into position to stand
Handle well positioned

Convex deck makes it hard to sit on and feels weird after coming from domed decks
Solid plug no gortex breather valve
No tuttle box

Graphics a bit ordinary IMHO, white matt paint gets dirty easily
Must be a tough build for tracks to the survive rock impact I had
Strap positions not tried, are only central not offset, may be a bit far back. Not sure as ride strapless

Overall really happy with the board. Especially as it was bought unsighted and not reviewed.
