Gday all, I retrofitted one of my boards with a foiling box and still enjoying the new stoke.

I also stuck on a dodgy back foot kicker onto the grip for foot placement that's working a treat. (See photo)

However, today I took the same board, minus the foil, out to have some fun in some beachies and had a ball. All except I kept tripping up on my dodgy rear kicker and would love to make another that I can take on and off as needed.

I was thinking of making a better kicker and sticking some industrial strength (pointy side) Velcro onto the bottom. Then the soft Velcro onto the deck grip and hopefully I won't trip over it and the kicker will stay on when needed.

Any ideas are welcome.
Cheers

Just buy a full kick pad and stick it on onto of your grip , it sticks....
This is mine been there for a couple of months.

Cheers Piros, I used some deck grip for my dodgy and it sticks great. Trouble is I want a better kicker but also be able to take it off and on as I use the board for normal surfing too. I tripped on the little bastard twice today and gave me the ****s.
Do you reckon Velcro on the bottom of the kicker and board would work?

There used to be thing in the 80's called a Rocket Block which was just the kicker part of a tail pad that was affixed to your board with velcro. I can't even find a picture of one on Google though.

Do you have footstrap inserts? If so, you can use them to mount foot hooks like i did in this video.
If not, velcro is worth a try.

Cheers boys.
Cassy, I'll have a search for the rocket block to see if it can give me some ideas.

BP, No for foot foot strap inserts as it's a retrofitted short performance sup for foiling and normal surfing.

Thanks again guys.
