great weekend for buggered old timber yachts with flock of seabirds taking out the teams event of the cup pagan winning irc and cheranna taking out phrf joanne brodie placing 2nd and 9 out of 60 yachts. Great sailing with a bit of fresh breeze Saturday arvo a great band at the club Saturday night and getting to hang out with friends all weekend

The Saturday night was such a success most boats were suffering from severe hangovers for the Sunday race .
On the downwind leg, we were too tired to pull out the big vmg kite, so we goosewinged the reaching kite, plodded ddw in 5 knots and sat back and enjoyed the view.

Can't wait for the KIngfisher series, we'll see if ANYONE can knock off the mighty Seabirds!
