When the mast were pull on the mizzen there is a dent above the spreaders . I inquired about what happen about 20 years ago a boat lost it mooring and took out the mizzen on the boat on the way pasted perhaps this compression on the main mast bulk head may have been a result of this too.
I'm happy enough to fit a mast compression post and move the forward cabin entry to stard board similar to this walker

Or you could do a couple of nice custom stainless upside down "L" brackets bolted through the bulkhead. Just a thought.

Think Ill remove the cover on the forward cabin and have a look at the top of bulk head make sure theres no rot and in good condition if its OK Ill make some S/S brackets "L" brackets like you said Dama

I can see where the mast mounts above the bulkhead there is a slight depression in the deck

Is this what you are concerned about

When you talk about fitting stainless L brackets what would the purpose of them be

In the original brochure you sent me a while ago there is no compression post shown

The bulkhead was designed to be compression post . The mast has pushed down on the bulkhead and there is damage there of some sorts
On deck where the mast step was the forward two mounting holes are cracked and there been bogged up .
Below deck the fiberglass is depressed just in front of the bulk head
After removing both masts I found a dent above the spreader on the Mizzen I inquired how it might have happened was told a near by boat broke its swing mooring and as it went past it took off the mizzen as theres a stay from the main mast to the mizzen( this holds up the mizzen) it may have done some damage back then.

Grind n clean up mast foot pad. Mark n tape out area bigger than original pad. Use epoxy or poly or ply encased with poly/epoxy with whatever woven/biaxial etc stuff you prefer. Make yourself a strong new heavier pad that sits in/above the cabin top. Don't forget to fillet corners with bog if using a square shaped ply board. Mine sits about 30 above but is 60 mm thick ply in polyester as my hulk has a 30mm plus cored deck aswell. This will lengthen your shrouds n stays. I added long shackles at shroud turnbuckles as my boat is a dinghy compared to most on here. Hit the polyester and beef that bi#tch up!!! Ps. Don't get caught up in the whole polyester epoxy bull****. Pps the weight moment vertically down at base of mast isn't as crazy as you think. Ppps ....the bulkhead assembly can be thought of as pulling in as well as pushing your mast outwards. On my hulk I really can't see how the mast weight transfers to the keel because it sorta doesnt. The whole main bulkhead moves as one. There is no "squashing" moment of the main bulkhead only localized squashing as the plastic sinks a bit at the mast foot. If that makes sense. Probably not. Maybe beef up your backing plate(s) if required too? And pot your holes with epoxy if required.

Just a thought! Your rigging may have been over tight. Read recently an article on rig tension that said you can force your mast down placing undue tension on your deck and bulkhead if rigging screws over adjusted. Plenty of info on the web about correct rig tension and how to measure and adjust.
I would go the added compression post option with a new plywood oversized pad up on deck. If you don't have the adjustment in the turnbuckle to allow for the increased shroud and stay length you can get shroud/stay lengthening plates from Westmarine or just add longer shackles as previously mentioned.

I think that gimballed speakers are essential on a modern yacht but unfortunately mine missed out but at least with the zip clip mountings you will not have any corrosion issues

Are you intending to close in the section above the seat backs

yes Donk I have a few teak shutters that I will cut down to make double doors and hopefully remove the gimbaled speaker mounts . I am trying to make lamb out of Mutton here . The other day in the I.T.Bin at work I scored a video projector unfortunately its 240 volt but it work well. some where around here in one of my computer draws I have a 12 volt LED projector went looking for it for the boat thought of just adding a TV card and utilize a computer to watch TV and movies and plug it into a projector and just pull a screen down to watch T.V would save having a TV on board . Just fit a pull down screen on the opposite side of one of settee's and fit the projector behind the shutter doors behind me when I watching . Its only a figment of my imagination as yet but Ill experiment with it
