I saw a blog somewhere about this stuff you can put inside an inflatable then roll it over and over to spread it around. I can't find it again. Does anyone know what I'm talking about. My dinghy is leaking from at least one seam and all the handles oar holders and oar locks have peeled off. It is an Aquos..three years old. Hardly used and been in a shed the last year or more

Same thing happened to me McN. I got it reglued by a mob in Darley Ave, Mona Vale. I don't think there is much you can do yourself
so if you want to keep it I can only suggest you take it somewhere. I was told that if you store
inflatables in a shed that gets hot in Summer, they unstick.

Cheap glues have a habit of drying out if put into a hot environment, unfortunately most of the glues you buy in the hardware shop are " cheap glues" and as such mean that generally you can't effect the repair yourself.

The other problem will become apparent after you have it fixed, that is you can only fix what you percieve to be broken. Meaning that in a sort amount of time a new leak will manifest itself somewhere else.

You are correct LC. From memory McN, my dinghy suffered a loose transom and a couple of pads had come adrift and a leak
from one of the cones. It cost $120 but it was worth it. For me anyway.

If it was a Zodiac or an Avon, I doubt it would have a problem.

That would be correct Cisco. Mine was an Aquamarine,I bought it new. Supposedly Italian............but I dunno.

I have repaired it before with the right glue for the job and those repairs have held. Was just looking for the glue you can put inside

Aquamarine is Chinese. Mine fell apart after 5ish years.

OK Slammin. I replaced it with one from Whitworths (inflatable floor) seems to be 100% better.
