Can anyone help me with this? It's an internet era Lewmar (.com) and that's all I know. I'd like to fit throttle/gear controls to it as well as some kind of iPad bracket. Sorry the pics are sideways!

looks pretty similar to current designs, called Enguard. You can have a look in the Lewmar site, it is a bit cumbersome, but stick with it and you should get some details?

Chris, just pick a design you like for the top of the pedestal to hold your ipad etc & knock it up with timber & ply, or whatever. Then just bolt it to the top of what you have. I'd put a nice compass there as well.
The controls will just bolt/mount to the side of the pedestal - have a look through the different boat supply websites to find something suitable.

Rest assured there are drinks in the holders when the boat is in operation! My daughter snapped the pics as we were leaving the other day.
