Yes, mike_e, good question. Yes, I need to do a few things:
- have a go at rejuvinating the gelcoat using Maine Sail's method:
www.sailnet.com/forums/gear-maintenance/52772-tips-compound-polish-wax.html- replace the timber rubbing strips / strakes / gunwhale all around
- patch any blisters and antifoul (shipwright to do)
At some point it could do with scraping back old antifoul but I think I'll leave that for next year and not take on too much at once. Check / Replace seacocks while out.
I've never done either of these so need to prepare well, have a yard that isn't OTT expensive, and a friendly shipwright who'll do the antifoul, seacocks and other stuff I come up with and who maybe has some good advice.
Does that sound like Col Cole to you, Chariot?
