Anyone have a source for the plastic liner for this Plastimo furler extrusion.

When l had problem with my sail track for my plastimo furler, l sourced it from a mob (for 94 pounds delivered instead of $320+ from local sources) called Sea Teach from England.(www.seateach.com) They are precise and got most of the plastimo parts of yesterday.

Great thanks. Passed on the info to my mate. He is keen to get the mast back up so might have to pay the rip off local price.

Who are the local plastimo parts suppliers?.
I just keep getting the Seateach mob in the UK, only need one link plate, so local should be ok.
Also is there any manuals (that aren't in French), not sure if the 809s should have some type of bearing in the drum tube?? The drum flaps around and touches the turnbuckle, I don't think it should be like that?.
cheers

Not sure what the Plastimo furler number is, it's a big bastard! Mate had to destroy the bearing carrier to get to the bearings. He is going to turn up a new one probably in brass and it will be much easier to service the bearings.

The saga of the Plastimo furler continues. Some liner for the extrusion still exists in the world but not enough for the whole length! There is a couple of kinks that he can not straighten in the alloy extrusions so it has been decided to replace the alloy sections. Now looking for off the shelf alloy extrusions, new or second hand. Not fussed about the profile any differences can be machined on site for the drum and top swivel etc. This is for the Cole 42.

Was that the old " AZTEC " Looks very much like her, although last time I saw her she had some big weird doghouse?

Yes. There has been much modifications to restore her to the original layout.
