I'm always amazed at how much sail these couta boats carry. Why don't they tip over ?.

They are no slouch - they were getting along nicely on the Swan River.....
Even pretty quick downwind despite no spinnaker....

Lots of beam and internal lead ballast plus crew weight on the windward rail. Hard work but lots of fun to sail.
