Trust me it's jarkan 11.5 could even be a 12.5 , I know the owners and the had it built for them they are in there 80s and still cruise the south Australian gulfs every year over a 2 to 3 month period.

You have it from the horses mouth so I concede.

In this closer up photo I see that the mast is stepped at the front end of the pilot house unlike the Zeston and the 48.

Looks like a comfortable performance cruiser.

They built 29's and 30's as well. The 36 I mentioned was off the eBay ad. Lot's of people selling their yachts don't know how long they are!

That's a 34 deck. It's priced the same as a 34 too and probably a bit narrow for a 37. I think they have listed a 34 as a 37. Nice looking boat.

The guy who owns Tekin II is very knowledgeable. Been around the Scarborough sailing fraternity for as long as I've been sailing out of here.

I can see hints of the 37 stern to this boat.

I'm sure it's, maybe a custom built 37 with less freeboard and a 34 coach house. I agree the 35 coach house is quite different.

The one on ebay is definitely a 35. I've been in contact with the owner.

You will have more room in a mottle then the Dunc as a liveaboard.

Yes Twodogs. I'm not going to buy a Dunc. Was but a mere passing thought. Holding out for the ideal Mottle

Rather than a "Mottle 33" you will be well advised to look for a "Naut 33" which would be about a 1983-4 build with the keel in the right position and a lot better build overall.

The Mottles and the Nauts are from the same designer and moulds but when Naut Yachts bought the moulds and building rights, they consulted with the designer who immediatelty told them that the keel was in the wrong position.

We all know who the designer is but I will not speak his name out of respect as I met him personally at his Pittwater design office in the early 80's.

I think his design philosophy is very similar to Doug Peterson's.

While they are technically a Naught 33 which mine is they are all commonly known as Mottle 33.
