Shore power. At anchor I can open the hatches and use the rechargeable fans.

Hi all

We are sitting here tonight with the Patrol packed waiting to see what happens with the uncontrolled bushfire that is north west of us and is predicted to possibly come through here in the early hours of tomorrow morning

Hi Don, hope it goes well for you. We've cleaned gutters, raked leaves away and done a final bit of shrub trimming close to the house last night. Also packed a few essentials into the cars and we're ready to bolt from the mountain in South Hobart. Here's hoping this is not a repeat of the '67 fires!

Hi 2bish

Not much more to do other than see what happens and prepare for the worst case and hope and pray it doesn't happen

I see they have just named the marina as a "nearby safe place " in the warnings. Use the big boat to get people out if it goes pear shape.

Second that, I hope it dies, and fast.. I used to live in Faulcounbridge as a little kid, my earliest memory is the sounds of bad bushfires.
Look after each other gents, be safe.

Hi Lydia

No wind here at the moment (boats in the bay are hanging in all directions) so there is a bit of smoke about but nothing to serious

I haven't seen any boats come out of the marina yet

Patrol is packed and we are ready to go but not panicking just yet
