i really would like to put this waeco esky into the garage and lash it next to the freezer, it would be a great storage box or ice box! It won't fit any ideas?

I went through the same thing trying to fit a fridge into my boat even measured some with out the lid if it was possible to remove the lid and refit it inside.
Can you remove the lid and refit it once it inside ?
Another idea cut a hole in your deck close you where you drink and glass it in .
Have you measured your front hatch ? and can the lid be removed and refitted?
I stuffed around with all sorts of options trying to get a decent size fridge inside also Looked at what you have there as a ice box option dam boat makes it difficult .
At least I didn't get caught making some thing for the boat and not being able to get it in nearly did
Underground mining machines they cut them up on the surface and taken down and weld them together. When there worn out they drop them over the edge some where
It is fiberglass you could cut and glass it together once it down there

What I did was make a maxium size template that will fit down you hatch measure it and start looking I found a Technicie that would fit theres some out there that will fit and the poor old Waekco would be put on e bay. Or if you get a real drinking back packer from Sweden put it up near the bow so she does not drink all your beer. when shes on a binge. Just make sure she has not been to Darwin first ( you will have to ask Cisco about that one)

In another thread about leaky cocks.

Seriously, a thread about skin fittings and sea cocks is wide open to double meanings.

You want to talk about Master Bates and Seaman Staynes??

Get your 5 inch angle grinder out fit a S/S thin cutting blade and go for it

My favorite tools
once you cut it build it into a nice ply box with extra insulation
Then when its full of beer email me and Ill fly across and help you empty it Brizzy might want to come to S.A.

I spent night after night looking at every Ice box that was available to see if I could fit it down my hatch. went to several places measuring with the lid on with the lid off no solution found. I didn't want to build one in the boat so gave up and bought me Engels

No mate I will use a jigsaw way less dust......a jigsaw etc will make far less dust than a grinder ! Metal cutting blade! It will be interesting to see what high density foam they use in the $300 eskys!

I throughly recommend the Ceramic jig saw blade that some one in sea breeze recommended they work well with fiber glass and do not get blunt like the metal blades do
Chicken no angle grinder
