I think that this is a result of the storm that went through southern tassie a few months ago

Looks like you could take a line from the top of the mast to the shore, and pull her upright. If she has a keel, the gunwales might be above water and the boat could be pumped out.

There are a few boats like this around The Brisbane/ Gold Coast waters. Some are left there for years. You'd think that at least someone from the council or the insurance company would care to recover these vessels. While they may not pose environmental danger, certainly these boats are a bit of an eye sore. And yes, bit of shame to loose any boat

I've been advised that Marine and Safety Tasmania are aware of this vessel/situation and they have instructed the owner to remove it. Hopefully MAST will also post a navigation hazard warning in they're Notices to Mariners section on the MAST web site.
