After such a large investment in sails, I don't know if you want them stacked like that. Laying them flat may cause creases and cracking that you don't want. Especially traveling through the desert heat, not to mention the long trip. If you must lay them flat then make a flat overhead rack for them or stand them up on end in front of the yacht's left rear wheel.
Loosely tie them with cord instead of the bungee.
Believe me, you will be happy you did! Happier than if you ended up with a damaged sail when you got there. You have the room in the "Taj Mahal". Better sailing than sorry!

Each sail has an individual rack. 3 sails, three racks on the left, one sail one rack on the right. The cord is only to keep them from falling off the rack, there is only slight lateral pressure and minimal downward pressure. The silver bag is a padded mast bag.
