Don't try the land yachting forum, thats for land yachting!
Post away on here, land kiteboarding is similar in all respects to kiteboarding on water except you don't need as much power and you use a landboard with wheels.
We sell all the gear and can advise, check out the landkiting section of our website.
www.kitepower.com.au/landkiting.html
and here for kites
www.ozonekites.com.au/land-kites
and here for boards
www.mbs.com/

Kitepower sells both.

Definitely fun so long as you respect the hardness factor on land! If you try to go really fast, and screw up, its usually not going to end well. Same with boosting water is very forgiving, land is not.

Do it!

of course its fun. but only for the hardcore. most kitesurfers are too scared to landboard!....

oh and you can kite in lighter winds than kitesurfers. so when they are on the beach waiting for the wind to hit 15 knots your zipping around doing head high jumps!....

hehhe.. still better than sitting on the beach not kiting at all. getting bummed out because you haven't kited in 3 weeks because there's not enough wind, then going on an internet forum and complaining about the lack of wind!...

ps the head high jumps are in 10 knots. 15 knots. a lot higher if you want. but unlike the water theres Zero room for error when landing big jumps. Yourl find if your 6-10 foot up jumping boulders and you have to time your take off and land perfectly the thrill factor is high. Alot more than doing a 20 foot high jump on the water which has very little risk.
