Is the wedge island wave comp on again this year? just started riding late last year and keen to see how i come up against the rest. yew
I went in it last year. Started the season before that and picked up surf kiting pretty fast with the encouragement of my mates.
Gave the Amateur division a go for a bit of fun. Had a great time and realised how many talented shredding surf kiters there are from WA. All different styles. Many consistently pulling multiple moves. Was blown away.
Thought I was ok at surf kiting until that day :)
