I'm sure that there was an interesting article on here about the
Waksa and where did the thread go? Was it a taboo subject? As I found it a interesting subject, being a sailing club member from 5 years old. I can understand why in Qld there is no such thing because for some they put $ before the sport and the passion.
Sure was, showing some holes in where your increased fees were spent.
Maybe moderators thought it was against the rules, although to me just looked like some valid questions to WAKSA which were not replied to.
Or.... maybe they're being investigated?
Disclaimer: not a member, not my money.
Hi Nick & Brisbud.
I read the initial financials in quite a lot of detail. I worked for an auditor for 4 years.
I asked a lot of questions in that thread. I probably should have kept it off the forums, but whats done is done. I apologize about that.
I have since received a well detailed account of all variances from WAKSA less that 48 hours after I posted on seabreeze.
Rest assured Nick, whilst the financials are not audited.
I do not believe there were any holes in spending, all expenditure was accounted for.
Whilst this is not an ASX listed entity, I do believe their disclosure in the financials could have been improved to prevent this situation from occurring.
Doesn't bother me dude, like I said im not a member. Merely stating how it read, probably why it was removed.
A bit curious though what they did for promoting the brand and what they were storing?
More red thumbs please!
