You are allowed to Kite on Rottnest, although I'm not sure which beaches work best. Someone else should be able to answer that.

Great to read this... we have a two day company thing on Rotnest the end of March.

I see there are some pretty good waves there and the wind meter reads a few knots more... take the usual wave board and two kites? any reason to take a twin tip?

I Kited there in January and to be honest it was s#$t.....Offshore winds at the point south of the jetty (Can't remember what it was called). Tried Salmon bay....so gusty I just didn't..........If you try just one thing.....BE CAREFUL......

Hey,
I checked out Salmon bay, looks ok but there is reef, could be decent in a seabreeze. Ended up kiteing Transits(thomson bay) in a NE, had to leave from natural jetty and work upwind. Would be a fun wave with a bit more wind, just watch out for the ferry and other boats going through the channel,
Thanks
Matt
