At this time of year, Town Beach is pretty much your only option and works great with SE to E winds, forecast looks good these days. Can bit a bit light so hopefully you have the gear for those sort of conditions.

Murky waters with crocs, hidden rocks and massive tides...but great fun!

if the conditions are good you'll have a few locals kiting there.

At least it's warm :)

Easterlies are hit & miss at the moment, but had a good 10 mtr (88kgs) sesh on Sunday. If the tide is lower than the Seawall it can be hard to judge the wind strength from the grassed area. It can be pretty good if your on to it.

the easterlies haven't really kicked in yet. When they get going the wind (good wind) will hang around for 4 or 5 days then lull for about the same. It's morning wind so no good for me till the weekend. The crocs aren't really an issue because the weather has cooled off & when it heats up we kite cable beach, which yep you would see it coming, which is why they don't hunt open beaches, generally. No one eaten yet but with numbers ever increasing ya never know ya luck. Kiting with **** all people around rules

Tim don't get sucked in by the forecasts, you can safely take 4 or 5 knots off all of them

He's talking ****, the wind can stay up for 3 to 4 hours, sometimes all day.if you feel it dropping you just stay close o shore as the beach is not very big & if you can't get back to it it's all rocks & mangroves.(highish tides that is) Anyway if your up here say hello, everyones friendly. Bit hard to say what the easterlies are going to do, myself I'd be targeting July - August He fought sharks & crocks till he was ****ed then drowned

Hey Broome crew, Im in town for a week or two, if the SW sea breeze comes in towards the end of the week where will be the likely spots? Will cable work from the car park? I had waist high lefts on the paddleboard yesterday on the high tide at cable, was epic coming from Darwin.

Cheers
