kitesurfing rockingham

Can anybody give me some info on where to kite around Rockingham Fremantle Safety Bay in the summer and where not to go as looking at renting a house some where in the area for next summer

it depends on what u are after. Waves 5 min drive north of freo at leighton beach, or 15min north of mandurah at secret harbour. There are a few spots on the way but secret harbour usually gets most of the swell. If you are a flat water junkie safety "The Pond" is what u want. or if you are advanced there are islands close to the coast around rockingham that you can kite out to and have a look around. Safety bay is def the best spot by far imo. However be prepared for crowds in the summer. It gets pretty congested and tensions run high. As long as you follow the road rules in there its fine. Also flat water at woodmans point about 10 min south of freo. Also another popular spot but with a bit more room to breath.
