Hey

I live in Mullaloo the next suburb across from ocean reef and Mullaloo Beach is quite a good kitesurfing spot for the SW and the NW and about 1km from mullaloo south there is pinaroo point this is a popular spot and good for the same winds.
Hope to see you around
Sam And i dont no what the temp of the water is but around that time you wouldnt need a wettie

Hello kite kit,
A great spot in Rockingham is Penguin Island at Mersey Point.
Sam is spot on; Mullalloo and Pinnaroo Point are both good spots up Ocean Reef way.
You may still need a springsuit in October.
I think the water temperature is usually around 20 degrees Celsius by then. We usually get around 18-23 knots at that time of year although there are lighter and stronger days.
Check out www.waksa.org.au for info on more locations in the metropolitan area and for events that are on.
Enjoy your stay,
Jess - WAKSA Events
