you're gonna need a lot of luck,
like all kite holidays you face the possibility of the wind being hit and miss.
around the world I've had mostly miss,
in Phuket I've had only miss

Very inconsistant and very light in comparison to Aust winds, especially west coast (WA).
Worked over there for 5 years and the best I could manage when I was learning was to just keep my trainer kite up... they usually go around with 14-18m kites as the wind is light...if you want to kite in thailand your better off in Hua Hin where its a tad more consistant but still not great compared to Aust ... if however your going there anyway and you want to have a go if the wind is up then great but i wouldnt bother bringing your own gear as you may be very dissappointed..

I would give it a miss and got to the cable instead. Anthem, IWP, and PWP are all in Phuket.
