this is my first winter on the west coast just wondering are these easterlies common during winter? Is the season over or is there still hope?

Easterlies are common this time of the year, as are still days.
This is the time for surfing in WA, around, can wait
up to two weeks with no wind. This does however not last long.

Pretty sure there is another season between Summer and Winter
