Is there a live wind reading at Woodman Point? I just noticed the below when in the forums. However I don't see Woodman Point on the live readings on the Perth Metro weather page.. 
yeh weird, it used to be - but was removed. looks like a live reading.. Pt Walters the place to be though
There was a thread about it some time ago, I could be wrong but I think the Woodies live readings stopped being displayed on the main page for reliability reasons...I'm sure Laurie can provide some details.
Yes, it's returning soon, we're just bedding it in/calibrating/testing. Accidentally slipped in the 'recent readings' list.
The last meter suffered all sorts of jeckyl and hyde behaviour, and eventually broken.
A new meter was acquired, and on day one the massive bird immediately thinks it can hold it's weight, and lands on the wind cups. Sigh.
Been a lot harder than it needed to be, and many thanks to me mate Stewart for putting the yards in & getting in going again.
Should be available next week, all going well (and no large birds)
