When looking at the wind forcast which wind direction should i be lookin at for the best kiteing around north perth on the screen ? .Its easy at the beach you can feel and see the wind .
Do the directions say where its going or comeing from .
Might seem obvious to some but as a beginner it"s all new .

The arrows show which direction the wind is coming from. So an arrow pointing up the screen shows its from the south.

A good way to work out what kind of wind suits your area is to go to google maps, and zoom in on the beach you like. The maps are orientated with North to the top of the screen. If your after say cross shore winds (parallel to the beach which is the best for learning in), then all you do is look for arrows on sea breeze that are oriented the same way on the screen as what parallel to the beach is.

If you kite at say mullallo beach, then parallel to the beach is roughly north/south orientation. So look for the forecast winds on seabreeze that are cross shore, or slightly cross onshore which are the best for learning.

Hope this helps.
