Hey guys,

I live in San Francisco and I'm considering coming out to WA for vacation in late October since I hear your wave kiting is rediculously fantastic. I'm wondering if anyone can fill me in on a few details. Here are some questions I'm hoping you guys can help answer:

1. Is there a good chance for wind and waves in late October?
2. Where are the best spots to hunt for barrels, and for nice long waves?
3. Are there any spots with rights? (My husband loves lefts, but I'm all about the rights)
4. Are your best wave spots remote (that is, do we have to camp), or are they near towns where we can rent a house or a hotel room?
5. OK, I've heard your waters are sharky - no worries there, Whitey is popular out here in San Francisco, too (we use the big ones as jumping ramps) - but are there any other hazards I should be aware of? Box jellies? Sea snakes? Horse flies the size of my head? Kangaroos with a taste for ripstop fabric?

I really appreciate your help! Thank you in advance!
Anyone who posts a reply will be rewarded with a lifetime of sick waves and strong winds. :)
