Hi Guys.

I was wondering, if I get a membership now is it only valid to September?
If I get one in September is it valid for a whole year and is it still only $60.
I'm an experienced Kiwi kiter moving to Perth, and all this stuff is new to me, so be nice.

Hi Michion,

Welcome to Perth! The annual WAKSA membership runs 1st October to 30th September.

Through the winter months kiting is far more challenging with gusty winds, predominantly onshore wind directions, and often larger swells. For these reasons WAKSA membership is important to have over winter.

As such, from June 1st WAKSA will enable new members to join at the reduced rate of $35 to enable them access to the benefits of WAKSA without having to pay the full yearly fee. The winter reduced rate will cover kiters until the next WAKSA year starts on October 1st when you will need to renew your membership.

All the best and safe kiting,

WAKSA
