There are 2 reasons for this post.
The first is to thank Deano for going above and beyond the call of kiting, to organise and chair the meeting. Because of Deano's effort the meeting was conducted in an expedient manner, and with a minimum of red herrings......Thank Fook!
The second is to give my perspective. There are no real issues. We only need to agree upon the small print.
There was no uproar, no major bones of contention, only a collection of informed ideas to achieve the same result. And for that I am proud to be a kiter.
I spoke briefly earlier in the meeting of 'tweaking noses' with regard to the degree of difficulty that Peli Point should/could be rated. The tweaking noses that I refered to was not the appendage of any Peli Point 'local', more so the collective nose of those who look down their probiscus' at Peli Point kiting (as a beginner's destination).
Where you kite is predominantly a matter of convenience. What you do with the place you kite is a matter of necessity. It is necessary for us to do the 'righty' to maintain convenience.
Hence, we were there....with the inclusion of 'Airbourne' Ian. Thanks for attending on behalf of AKSA Ian. It is reasuring to river based AKSA members that the association is interested.
Right. Time for bed.
Night all
Ant.
