Thanks to the two guys who came down to make sure I was OK after swimming for a while trying to get my soggy kite back to land.

Moral of the story: Towing a kite is hard work, even if it's flagged to the safety. You're better off self-rescuing, even if you're only 50m offshore.

some good vibes also to the kid who ran up the beach to get us, cause otherwise we wouldnt have seen you out there. It was getting pretty dark!

was good to practice a self rescue on someone else's kite
