This is my second summer in WA, last season I kited loads and was surprised to hear everyone moaning about a crappy season. I'm pretty sure I've kited more this time round so are you calling this season a good one because if not i can't imagine much better, geraldton especially has been sooooo good in the last few weeks. :-)
I had a good one, out hibs so yeah was good but like you I hear it's not so good as it used to be...
Yep
3 hours today on top of a sup & 4 hours detailing the car & i'll sleep well tonite.
IMHO it's been a great season compared to the previous two but i do remember when i started in 09 & then 2010 we would have 6 or more days of consistent seabreeze the northern lows/cyclonic activity seem to be moving further south.
Today around 2:30-4:30pm was great consistent wind with swell
gotta love it.
out of the last 3 seasons inclusive, this has been the best
but more like a "regular" Perth season.. nothing special
particularly the second half of this season has been good compared to the last 2. The last 2 had good starts but bad troughed out ends
just came back from the physio - sorting out my weak ass left forearm from over use
dry needling - feels great!
i laugh when people start posting in feb " season over" "is this a good season"
The season is still going , there are still green arrow days , there have been more easterlies this year than previous years . Personally the season has been better than in the past but i would stop at calling it an awesome season . Definately had more 20+ days than last year .
But the season is still going and there are still more green arrows forecast .

Two very different questions there, I mentioned nothing about season over. But hey, you keep on laughing ;-) :-)
A quick stat from our school to help answer your question, last year from October 1st to February 28 = 93 teaching days.
This year from October to February 28 = 109 teaching days. So this season would be better by 15% thus far or 16 more days of wind.
