I'm a complete newb that is looking for lessons and or a shop nearish to Ocean Reef. I'm finding a lot of offerings south of Freo but none up North. Help please?

Shops are a problem that far north. The closest ones i know of are "Hold the Lines" in Wembley. The waksa have a page of links to shops etc on their website.
For lessons speak to Rob Gannon at Kiteboarding Perth. He uses Mullaloo beach and I can personally recommend him.

airborne kitesurfing is in osbourne park. which is the most northern retail shop.
