Following our Special General Meeting on the 27th April 2005 at the Cottelsoe Hotel, we now have a new WAKSA Committee as follows:
President - Dean Gilkison
Vice President - Mike Bergman
Secretary #1 - Graeme Speak
Secretary #2 - Dale Stanton
Treasurer - Emma Bell
General Committee - Alex Bell
General Committee - Michael Simper
General Committee - Ryland Blakeney
General Committee - Jonothan Keys representing Cottelsoe Kiters
General Committee - Phil Morrow representing Melville Kiters
The new committee is made up purely of volunteers from our membership without any commercial interests.
Dean Gilkison proposed a special vote of thanks to the outgoing committee members, with particular reference to John Geyer and Ian Grose for their enormous contribution to WAKSA over the last few years. Special mention was also made for Jenny Auckland and Carl Bevilacqua for their contributions to WAKSA.
The new Committee is looking forward to serving the WA Kiting community on a number of fronts this year. We will be communicating these initiatives in further notices.
