sorry to take up this thread with another lost Board. I lost it at Melville beach Thursday evening 18th Dec. It was toward the point at the end. current was headed toward south perth. It has green/white Binding's and the board is green, purple and varnished wood. If anyone comes across it I would be extremely grateful as I don't have the coin to buy another one yet. On another note - Just want to say, a reason I got into Kiteboarding was because a mate told me how accepting and inviting the community is. I did the right thing and plashed out on lessons so I could learn the safety and etiquette properly. Everyone has been totally awesome and I feel very much part of a positive community enjoying nature and an active hobby/lifestyle - Cheers, also shout out to Brett who tried to retrieve it but only stranded himself :) points foe effort mate

Did you have your name and number written on your board?

If not, WRITE YOUR NAME AND NUMBER ON YOUR NEXT BOARD!

Agree'd, for a solo sport it seems to be rather social. Every time I'm rigging up or down I seem to get into a conversation with some body. Everyone seems to look out for each other is well. Down at Melville on Friday I saw 2 people stack it, get into a trouble and there were 2-3 other kiters helping them get into shore...

Nah i didnt have anything written on it. one of those situations where i was kicking myself for not thinking to put my details on it. It looks like someone has probably picked it up, maybe not savvy with the kiting community and to check on seabreeze or gumtree. Or else someone is looking to make a quick buck but ill give the benefit of the doubt. Will def write my name and number on the next one (when i cave in and bite the bullet) not cheap tho. Oh well gotta get back out there. :)
