Thumbs Up

Pulled out the zephyr for a dwinder in 10 to 12 knots this arvo ... I was actually well lit until the wind dropped to about 5 knots and it was just a struggle.
Very happy with the drifting capabilitys of the 5 strut zephyr and for 17 m it turns and loops well for such a big kite.
I have a Nsp surfboard that has a wide body on it which has turned out to be a good light wind board which is almost on par with my nugget for light wind.
I was thinking of getting a small foil put on the nsp board ... No more than 20 cm in depth just to get a little lift when it drops below 7 knots so I can keep plaining.
Has anyone experimented with short foils to see if they work with surfboard for a wave riding . They can't be too deep otherwise the sand banks will take them out.
I am aware of the quantum fin. I wondering of giving this a try too .
Anyone got some expert knowledge on this ?
