Hi all, im a Vic kitesurfer who has taken time out (about 7yrs to ride motorbikes ??) I'm now at a point where I want to get back into the water.. I started out with the old Venoms (they were fun but hard work in low winds) and had just bought a North Rebel before I started riding bikes.. I had 'Underground FLX' boards which suited me fine.
I'm Just interested in what people are flying... I'm guessing there's been improvements in the last few years.

I also have a friend who is interested and hence the request, does anyone know where best in Albany he could get lesssons ?
Cheers
Liz

Hi Liz

there used to be a kite school operator in Albany some years ago but not anymore. The inlet is an awesome location to learn, however, the winds are not nearly as frequent and predictable as around Perth. The kite season is coming to an end, hopefully you can get back into it quickly before winter.

get a trainer kite mailed to you then teach yourself, or walk up to locals and offer to pay for lessons
