sounds like an awesome plan! I'll probably be in Sri Lanka...not sure about the beer but heaps of wind and very delicious curries :D
We'll be staying right here and taking advantage of the Easterlies, Kite the mornings surf the afternoons, pretty much just like summer in reverse. Overseas is overrated ;-)

Where is Greece is good for kiting, pref with some flat water
Going to Sanur Bali in June. Wind will be light but it's a great spot for the family.
Danatgbay....went to sanur last June . In three wks saw kites from 10 to 17 up having fun . It was more consistent than I thought .
And bonus ....get up at first light and get a surf at Hyatt or Tanjung sari ....paddle out before the locals start the ferry run ! .
I am actually heading to dublin & edinburgh in June for 3 weeks. I am planning to take my 17m zephyr and 10m park.
If anyone from there is on this forum, could you let me know if these kite are the right size?
I also have a 8m park i could take..
Greece is a great spot for kiting around early august. I went two years ago and it was 30 knots every single day.

Had its good days but the crowds were somethin else! Looking for something a bit less crowded this year

also looking for some info about south coast france, spain and portugal june/july (for waves)
Portugal has good kiting near Cacais - guincho. I kited there with an 8m in July a couple of years back. There is a good wave at Guincho also Though beware of the cold water. South coast of Spain is great - Tarifa. Big winds though June is a little early. last year was ok. There are wave spots nearby on the souTh coast - Canos de Meca.
For me this year, I am hitting Canary Islands - pozo Izquierdo and then 2 weeks in Morocco - Dakhla. Hoping to kite in the waves as well as the flat water at Dakhla.
