I dropped off what I thought was an almost unrepairable leading edge, bladder and canopy blowout, and got it back a few days later, good as new, and at what I consider an amazingly low price.

I guess he keeps his business running on quality of workmanship and pricing repairs correctly. This creates repeat business and the flow continues. Simple business model.
The fact he doesn't run the shop anymore probably has a positive effect by reducing overheads.
He's got my business for future repairs that's for sure.
