Hi there
I arrived in Bunbery on mid of July and come back to France in the mid of August.
I live here in the house of a retired woman very close to the ocean. I am discovering Perth region while I am running my business in France.
I have done martial arts, skateboarding and snowboarding for many years. I am 35, like meeting new people, listening and mixing underground techno (drum'bass, tribe, hardtek), rave parties and meditation.
I have two demands
- I would like to take kite surf lessons close to Bunbery; do you give lessons or know people who do?
- I would like to surf with people in Bunbery; I am à beginner but not too bad for a beginner even if I am afraid going alone :P I have brought my wetsuit and I could get a board; I can offer back French discussions, my music or a drink.
In both case I would be happy to meet new people and share on our cultures
Namaste
Maël

Hey frenchie, I think there is a dude that kicks around teaching in the Eastury. Maybe try give them a call (http://www.mrkiteandsail.com/LessonsK.aspx). It's been said on here a billion times but getting lessons is a must, you will progress relatively quick with the correct tuition. I'm self thought and I wish I would of got lessons earlier just to help progress to a better level. it's an awesome spot down here as it all works so well given a bit of wind. A good few kite out at Australind also.

Hey Mr Frenchie,
Not really our peak kiting season unfortunately.
Need to be back here between Nov / March to make the most of it.
Winter is dangerous kiting conditions, especially for beginners.
Enjoy the surfing, head further south for some more consistent waves.
Cheers.

Heya, if you can get up to Perth, 'Kitebase' hires gear and gives lessons (search on Facebook). Also there is a Wake Park in Perth worth checking out perthwakepark.com.au/

We were all out on the weekend in Bunbury and didn't see any french dudes wandering around asking kiting questions.
