Hey WAKSA crew,
Just wondering if any discussion with City of Cambridge (CoC) has occurred regarding the volleyball posts that have been installed at the Floreat Groyne launching area.
A few years back, we had all sorts of consultation and effort on behalf of WAKSA to get the Floreat Groyne launching area agreed with the CoC.
Now, for some reason, there are two volleyball posts right in the middle of the launching area, making it more hazardous for kite launching.
This pair of poles (the most northern ones, in the launch area) are the last in a series of about 10 that have been installed.
Can WAKSA request that that pair of poles are moved out of the launching area, and put at the southern end of the set of volleyball poles, given there's loads of space down the southern end?
Cheers.Dan.
As has been the case for a while, launching/landing is supposed to occur "at least 50m north of Floreat groin"
