hey every1.....i've just completed a few lessons and am ready to get my own gear. i've been told for me height and weight (6'1"-6'2", 90kg) that a 12m kite would best suit me. i'm having problems figuring out what size board would be best for me. i've done snowboarding and wakeboarding before but all on mates boards. any help would be sweet....

thanks guys/gals

hey mate, im almost exactly the same dimensions as you. The 12 meter will be perfect with a board around the 150 mark. Its a big board, but you will find it easier to go upwind with it in the beggining. Starting out is a very frustrating time and you'll start having a lot more fun when the walk of shame stops. I have been kiting since feb and am just starting to look at a smaller board now (around the 142 mark) Definately go for the slightly larger board.
And You will get a lot more replies if you post in the general forum under kitesurfing for this sort of topic.
Good luck,
Az.
