I get asked alot about good repairers from mates and crew down the beach for surfboards, kiteboards etc. so heres a lil plug for a mate of mine Josh Doherty. many of you would of used his services for repairs when he was working at oceanline up in wangara for years- great bloke, great prices and best repairs ive seen in west oz. ive been using him for years and wouldn't trust my repairs with anyone else. anyways he has been overseas for awhile and since coming back home a few months ago started his own company (Pineapple Bay). This bloke had my board for a 3 weeks while I was away at work. A few days before coming home asked if it was ready to pick up. Ignored my messages at first, so I called. Finally answered and said it would be ready. Got there, at the arranged time, wouldn't answer his door. He was still spraying some paint on the repair. Board not ready. Adam said I can bring it back to get the paint finished. Took my board there and then. Man over board is 130km from my place. I was furious. Just puttin it out there. I'm sure people have had good work done, and to be fair, my repair is still going strong with a half sprayed paint job, but ya might be without ya stuff for a long time.

Respect to any one doing board repairs, its in some ways harder than making a new board, just matching the colour is a pain and totaly time consuming, repair rates never reflect the skill and time involved, happy to support any one who is willing to give it a go, probably leeds to mental break down....
