speaking to leon and jake who went over 2 the comp in cairns recently. 1 night they had a video night. any one could bring along a short kite vid they had filmed and edited 2 music and have a beer and watch em all. apparently everyone got into it and heaps of people brought in vids they had made and there was a small prize for the winner . just a thought ,something different and it still involves having a beer with friends and you get to see people kiting all over aus. give us a call if u need a hand ryland 0414721782.

Sounds like a good idea. I will talk to the entertainment committee up here and see where we can sneak it in. Maybe on one of the early nights down at the surf club with a projector screen. Can organise that easily. Will get Dragonfly Media to sponsor it with a prize of free proffessional editing or something like that.
