Packing up yesterday evening at The Pond, friend had his one day old Duotone Select 38 sitting on the wall alongside the beach . As we were rolling lines etc and turned back for a few minutes , board disappeared . Around 7.15 Xmas day 2019. Unbelievable!!! Spoke to some other kiters who said a similar thing had happened a few days earlier . Watch out for unreasonably cheap boards !!! Let me know if u see similar description for sale in Melbourne.

Board was recovered this evening by Danni instructor at The Zu and others. Homeless guy tried to sell the board to them .... was asking questions about price and then appeared with the board . They realized all suspect and got the board back. Big shout out to Danni and all involved in the recovery. May be more equipment hanging out in the bushes ??? beach side of The Zu ( who knows) . Thks to all posters ... and keep an eye on gear.
