That looks sweet, I really need to get my van back on the road.
If anyone from Melbourne is driving down and wants to split the petrol money, I'm keen.

Ps how long is the drive?

The drive is just shy of 2 hours. Not too sure what direction that was to be honest. I've never kited inverloch but have heard that it's epic cos you can kite all around it and do some site seeing with Flat water spots.

If anyone knows what direction is best, please comment.

S SWS WSW... 15knts+ it can be very squally

High tide best but low is good if your skilled at reading shallows at speed & have skills to pop ollie to avoid face plants.

Respect, no bad kook'n around plz

50/50 chance of good winds so might be heading & have a space in my car.

2hrs drive with a fuel stop for coffee or beer at the Espy depending on times...

Anything with south in it is good a full southerly can be a bit difficult for a beginner.

West wind direction is gusty.when I was new to the sport I went there and told myself only to come back when I get better at kiting.

not worth 4 hours driving and $50 petrol imo unless you need a change of scenery. there are plenty of good options in the bay. great place to go for a family holiday though.

Forgot the 9m and so was left sitting on the beach the last two hours waiting for the wind to die down and suit my 12

I almost left my 9m and was just gonna take the 11, glad I took it even though at times I wish I had a 7.

Walked back down at 430 and had a really good session on the 12, first time using my new (second hand) 2013 switchblade
What a difference this kite is compared to using a switchblade 2 the last couple of seasons!

A lot less kites (and wind) had lots of room to ourselves out there!

I went for a kite surf to right point but the wind direction was from the south so I when to Woollami but it was big an close out. I kite at Inverloch for the 2nd time. I was on a 8 meter kite . It was epic, lots of kites but it is a big playground and room for everyone. cheers .

SE are really good at Inverloch, normally 5 knots stronger than on the bay. Wind seems to funnel across the inlet and strengthen before hitting the narrower area adjacent to the fishing club/caravan park
