is there anywhere that works in a south wind direction you know of as this weekends perdiction looks sweeeet .
If it is a secret spot just message me i wont tell any one ( i am by myself)
There is a great spot just north of Brisbane, it has an area with some great waves, plus a few flatter water areas too
locals just call it the S.C.
I have heard the G.C. can be good on a southerly too but just never been down south.
I wonder if sandgate/Brighton is going to let me down again, I hope for a good day it feels like it has been so long since I had a good kite day.
The beach on the south side of the harbour is your best bet in S'lies Sam, nice clean wind. No good 2 hrs before or after high. Alternately, launch from the aquarium at lowish tide and kite over to the series of sandbars and reefs to the North of Round Island, great kiting in S, SSE. Make sure the wind is decent though as you don't want to get caught half way back with no wind.
Steve
at hervey bay i used to sailboard at pt vernon in s-se winds
was great , harder than south of the harbour but better
deep water only .
Caloundra is great for S-SE, Happy Valley (Bulcock) on out-going tide - Golden Beach on in-coming tide.
If its windy there should be heaps of kiters around for any advise if unsure.
